Of all sweets, gingerbread is my favorite for the holiday season — delicious and very easy to make:
Add 100 grams (3 oz) of honey and 70 milliliters (1/4 cup) of water to the gingerbread-mix (Haberfellner), knead and let the dough sit for 1 hour.
For the icing: mix powdered sugar with water and dye the paste-like icing with food coloring.
Seems like this time my inner nerd got out of control when I was cutting and decorating the cookies…
these are defintely going to be in my cookie box for this christmas
though I will try without the gingerbread mix, gotta ask my grandma for her original recipe
